Felisha McDougald is the Owner of Midwest Professional and a trusted Risk Advisor known for blending technical expertise with genuine care for her clients. She is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS), and Certified Personal Risk Manager (CPRM) — professional designations that require years of real-world experience and mastery of complex insurance concepts and advanced coverages. Felisha works closely with commercial clients to understand their operations, identify exposures, and design strategies that mitigate risk, protect investments, and reduce costs. In addition to advising clients, she teaches Aviation Risk Transference through the National Alliance, where she makes complex coverage concepts accessible to underwriters, brokers, and agents across the country.

Her leadership extends beyond her agency. Felisha was honored as Wish Granter of the Year for the Kansas and Missouri chapter of Make-A-Wish and continues to dedicate her time to organizations such as Children’s Mercy Hospital, Hospice House, and the Junior League of Kansas City. Known for her boundless energy, compassion, and commitment to service, she is recognized both as a thought leader in risk management and as a community advocate who brings integrity and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Darren’s passion for insurance coverage and the security it offers the community, coupled with his experience in the hospitality industry, prompted his transition into insurance in order to help provide a better quality of life for his family.
